Summary : This position is responsible for performing all warehouse and shipping/receiving activities.
General Description:
The Logistics and Inventory coordinator is responsible for the verification, movement, and storage of raw materials and finished goods into and out of the Durham facility. This person will also help coordinate and direct other shipping personnel to support their duties as outlines below.

Duties:
Including, but not limited to: Prepare all docs for outbound shipments for domestic and international (including packing lists, commercial invoices, COOs, COAs, and SDSs) Scanning and Filing Weekly Checklists Performing cycle counts (Raw Material/MMA/Finished Goods) Entering Cycle Counts Logging Inventory Adjustments Filing Invoices and Packing Slips Create BOLs & schedule freight shipments Process small package shipments for FedEx & UPS Receive raw materials Facilitate daily pick schedule Support the cycle count program and process inventory adjustments as required. Schedule freight & small package pickups for returned materials Assist supervisor with day-to-day shop floor scheduling. Act as back up when the supervisor is unavailable. Work closely with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy Own 5S of the finished goods and raw material warehouses Verify and keep records of incoming finished goods and/or raw materials Verify and keep record of outgoing shipments of finished goods and prepare items for shipment Detect and report damaged loads, leaking materials, and other unsafe conditions Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of incoming and outgoing shipments Convey material and items from receiving, production, and the warehouse to shipping areas, shrink wrap machine, or other designated areas Use computer to enter records Affix hazardous material placards to bulk loads and prepare DG declarations Loading/Preparing for hazardous waste pickup to disposal facility Coordinates loading of freight shipments, containers, and refrigerated containers for export Job Requirements:
Solid computer skills: (Microsoft Office, JDE, Paycom) Good oral written and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. Exhibit good professionalism: Dress, Answering Telephone, Interacting with employees, customers, and vendors. High School degree or equivalent required, Two-year secondary education preferred or equivalent experience within a manufacturing/shipping & receiving environment. Certified, capable, and comfortable on stand up and sit down forklifts DG certifications
