The Women's Community Inc
Reception volunteers are the front line to greeting guests coming into the agency. Our guests range from victims who are walking through our doors for the first time, to long-time clients, to system partners like law enforcement, to local news stations, and many more! Being the first person guests see is very important to how people are welcomed here.
Volunteers in reception provide administrative support for the agency. They perform reception duties like transferring calls, providing general information regarding our services, intake donations, and referring callers to appropriate programs or other community resources. Volunteers must follow all agency policies and procedures, including the training required to volunteer.
