Join an up & coming real estate developer and property management company as their new Bookkeeper. Located on the northside of Indianapolis near Castleton, our client has been servicing the Indianapolis market for over 25 years. After seeing exponential growth in the rental market, they took on new development and construction as well. With this growth, they are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers and journals. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately. Support payroll management by ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee hours and deductions. Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare tax documents and assist with requirements as needed.
Qualifications for the Bookkeeper Role Associates Degree in Accounting Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred 5+ years of accounting experience QuickBooks Online experience required Construction and Real Estate industry experience preferred Ability to work strategically with management and independently
