Job Overview As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, providing exceptional customer support, and acting as a product specialist to educate healthcare professionals on BD's innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Achieve established sales goals and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Provide on‑site technical support and training to healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate use of BD products.
Stay up-to-date with product information and industry trends to deliver value to customers.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address customer needs and resolve concerns promptly.
Represent BD at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, delivering compelling presentations and fostering brand recognition.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of sales strategies, contract administration, and group purchasing principles.
Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays, within the territory.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license that meets BD auto‑safety standards.
Willingness to undergo regular drug screenings as required by customers or medical facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical and surgical procedures, anatomy, and terminology.
Ability to communicate BD product benefits in relation to human anatomy and healthcare applications.
Familiarity with medical device regulations and industry best practices.
