Armed Corporate Security Agent – Seattle, WA Armed Corporate Security Agent
(full‑time). Location: Seattle, Washington. Schedule: Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with flexibility for overtime and special events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguard the client site and personnel from all forms of security and safety hazards.
Provide security coverage for employees, guests, and others in a professional, courteous manner in compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain a front‑facing security presence during business hours.
Monitor access control, alarm, and CCTV technologies.
Facilitate and manage the visitor process and guest badge issuance.
Assist in developing a streamlined incident reporting and activity log; maintain accurate records.
Secure arrival and departure routes for key executives.
Integrate security support for HR functions (terminations, screenings, access removal).
Demonstrate integrity and excellent customer‑service skills in all assignments.
Complete daily requests from management.
Assist the Protective Services team with executive support and onsite events.
Provide in‑person de‑escalation support as needed.
Support executive protection and security operations during special events.
Identify and mitigate risks at corporate events.
Deliver on‑site security coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Adapt to dynamic event environments to ensure seamless and proactive security presence for executives and VIPs.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to anticipate and address potential security concerns related to special event logistics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in an armed corporate security position.
Current or retired law‑enforcement background OR a current Concealed Pistol License (CPL) issued by Washington State.
Eligible to obtain/maintain a Washington State Armed Guard Card.
Required to complete and maintain the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC) Firearms Certification course.
Must hold or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED training or higher.
High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential information; excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort interfacing with senior leadership.
Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles.
Emotional intelligence and a customer‑focused approach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant experience.
Executive Protection and/or Tactical training.
Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC).
Licensing or proven training in defensive tactics and de‑escalation.
