SOC Operator



Embedded with our client in Seattle

– Full‑time, onsite at the client’s headquarters. Requires 10‑hour shifts, 4 days per week, and 24/.

JOB DESCRIPTION The SOC Operator assists personnel with all safety and security concerns for global locations, operating at tactical and operational levels. The role supports highly confidential operations, using an integrated security platform that includes CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to analyze and communicate potential threats to people, property, and brand assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review CCTV footage, investigate alarms, and respond by dispatching security patrol or alerting Fire services or Police as needed.

Assist employees with safety and security concerns.

Monitor travel safety and security for the client’s employees.

Notify and coordinate corporate response by distributing advisories and other communications.

Intake, triage, and respond to active security incidents.

Notify senior managers and partner teams of relevant incidents, seeking guidance that informs subsequent actions.

Author, review, and publish security incident case products.

Engage with response stakeholders to dispatch local resources, collect and share information, and document incident details.

Manage multiple area access‑management security workflows critical to operational success.

Provide back‑up, support, and on‑call functions as needed.

Perform other related duties and special projects as required.

Gather and prepare reports on individual and team performance metrics.

Conduct ongoing reviews of systems and sources to detect potential risks and proactively audit access‑control connections.

Cultivate an intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

Associate’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, and/or Corporate Security.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English.

Strong team player with flexibility to work all shifts and willingness to assist with overtime.

Full‑time onsite position; days and hours Monday–Sunday based on team needs; evening and weekend work may be required.

Legal eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; must be a U.S. Citizen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in a Security Operations Center, TOC, or similar.

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field.

Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV.

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.

Lenel access level management skills.

Comfortable with high‑tech environments and continuous learning of new tools.

Data entry or coding skills.

Root cause analysis skills.
