The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Co-op will work at the Melbourne, FL facility for the Summer and Fall semesters of 2026. This position is for an Electrical Engineering student interested in gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing with the process of acceptance testing of product. The selected candidate will work in a cross-functional team that applies Manufacturing concepts, techniques, analysis, and decision tools to promote and implement changes. The candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, be willing to learn, and be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; students are expected to take a semester off from coursework to engage with this mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

Collect test failure information and prepare failure analysis reports as required for production and assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.

Analyze various manufacturing data, such as Work In Process (WIP), test output & failures, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Assist in developing and preparing test and diagnostic programs to aid in the troubleshooting of test failures.

Develop and manage test documentation, test fixtures, and cables.

Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Test Technicians to understand product and test system issues.

What You Will Learn:

Learn how to assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.

Learn how to resolve test-related production issues.

Learn how to utilize Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined by policy.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
