Job Summary - Business Development Manager - MinuteKey

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving customer traffic to existing MinuteKey self-service key duplication kiosks specifically automotive keys. Our MinuteKey kiosks are in a variety of retailers nationwide. The BDM will be responsible for increasing awareness and usage of our instant automotive key fob duplication service. This will be achieved through a mix of in-store demos, digital marketing efforts, data analysis, and a strong customer-centric approach. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, collaborate cross-functionally, and execute growth initiatives that expand our market share within a 12–18-month timeframe. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys blending sales, marketing, and innovation to create measurable business impact. *This position can be based in Boulder, CO; Denver, CO; or Cincinnati, OH. Essential Job Functions

Drive top-line revenue and EBITDA growth by identifying and securing new, incremental opportunities across the business Demonstrate a deep understanding of ROI, customer lifetime value, and the Hillman financial model to successfully evaluate and pursue new business opportunities Lead strategic initiatives across departments without direct authority by influencing and aligning stakeholders Navigate and overcome internal and external objections to achieve business goals Proactively challenge the status quo and break through organizational or market barriers Deliver compelling presentations to key customers, internal stakeholders, and Hillman’s leadership team Identify and pursue creative, outside-the-box growth opportunities Uphold and promote high ethical and moral standards, holding yourself and others accountable Represent Hillman at industry trade shows, events, and customer meetings in partnership with the sales and marketing teams * This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally with exposure to Sales, Marketing, Channel, or Product functions Proven ability to create and execute go-to-market strategies in complex or saturated markets Experience in the hardlines industry strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, BI platforms, and CRM systems Willingness to travel up to 25%; valid driver's license required Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
