Regulatory Analyst (Hybrid | Contract-to-Perm possibility)

Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote

We’re looking for a detail-oriented
Regulatory Analyst
to ensure compliance with mineral lease provisions and maintain accurate well records. This
full-time contract role
offers the potential to transition into a permanent position.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor operator compliance and track key regulatory documents (e.g., RRC forms).
Maintain well data related to drilling, completions, commingling, and more.
Communicate regularly with operators to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Issue penalty invoices for non-compliance.
Educate and support operators on data requirements and system use.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent oil & gas/land experience.
5+ years’ experience with Texas oil & gas regulatory forms (preferred).
Familiarity with the Texas Railroad Commission a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
This is a hybrid role — candidates must be able to work onsite 2 days/week. Preference given to those in Midland or surrounding areas.
