Base pay range $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Recruiting Professional that is dedicated to finding candidates the right fit in their career path. The Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring regulatory compliance of lease provisions on ####’ mineral leases, maintaining well records pertinent to determining the validity of each lease and offering customer support for the filing of required regulatory documents. Daily correspondence with the operators on University Lands is necessary to ensure data compliance.
Essential Functions
Collect, analyze, and enter data received from the operators regarding well permitting, drilling and completion of wells, operator changes, consolidations, sub‑divisions, down‑hole commingles, etc. (RRC forms).
Monitor regulatory compliance of oil and gas operators on University Lands acreage.
Work with operators to ensure ####’ well records are current and complete.
Create penalty invoices for regulatory non‑compliance.
Provide industry education and assistance in reference to #### data requirements and use of public website.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Each year of right of way, land, title, or oil and gas land experience may substitute for one year of college (30 semester hours) up to a maximum of four years.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Texas Oil and Gas Regulatory forms
Experience working with the Texas Railroad Commission
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Expert verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest and knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work without supervision
Knowledge of University Lands
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Self‑motivated
Ability to work well with others
Working Conditions Work is performed in an office environment. Daily use of personal computer and other standard office equipment.
