Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
In partnership with our client, a leader in sports technology and athletic training equipment, we are seeking a
Marketing Manager
to lead marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation across commercial and consumer channels. This role acts as a strategic connector between brand, sales, and external partners – developing and executing marketing programs that drive awareness, nurture relationships, and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy: Manage and execute go-to-market strategies across multiple channels in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Email Marketing Leadership: Plan, build, and deploy segmented and personalized campaigns (via HubSpot or similar platforms); oversee A/B testing, nurture workflows, and performance optimization.
Partnership & Affiliate Marketing: Support partnership outreach and coordination with affiliates, coaches, and industry partners to align initiatives with brand goals.
Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with business objectives and sales enablement strategies.
Campaign & Content Execution: Work with creative resources and agency partners to develop compelling promotional materials, digital assets, and communications that drive engagement and conversion.
Event Marketing: Oversee commercial event strategy and execution in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
Analytics & Reporting: Track key campaign metrics—such as MQLs, ROI, audience reach, and conversion performance—and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Cross-Channel Marketing: Contribute to integrated campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, including paid search, social, display, affiliate, and direct mail.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in email and marketing, preferably in a commercial or wholesale environment
Proven expertise with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot or similar)
Demonstrated success collaborating with sales teams to align marketing with revenue goals
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into strategy
Excellent writing and messaging skills for partner communications, newsletters, and campaigns
Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience working with NIL or influencer partnerships
Familiarity with account-based marketing principles
Knowledge of marketing automation workflows and personalization strategies
Understanding of data privacy compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
SEO and content optimization for B2B audiences
Passion for sports and/or basketball is a plus!
