Job Title: Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner Location: The Schulte Institute - 7032 E. Cochise Rd, Suite A130, Scottsdale, AZ 85253 Employment Type: Start Part-Time (20 hours per week, 3 days a week, Monday–Friday), offering both virtual and in-person appointments. This role is intended to become Full-Time. Salary: $87,500 (Part-Time) and $175,000 (Full-Time). About Us: Join The Schulte Institute, a leading outpatient mental health practice led by Dr. Henry Schulte. For over 30 years, we have delivered exceptional care with services like psychotherapy, medication management, TMS, and Spravato Nasal Ketamine Treatment. We’re seeking a skilled Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. Job Overview: As a Psychiatric PA/NP, you’ll conduct evaluations, prescribe treatments, and provide holistic, compassionate care alongside Dr. Schulte and a supportive team. You will work with diverse psychiatric cases and help improve the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Develop personalized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications. Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed. Provide follow-up care and collaborate with other healthcare providers. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records.

PA Qualifications

Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Current Arizona Physician Assistant license. NCCPA Certification. Active DEA Registration. Experience in psychiatric care preferred.

NP Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with a focus in Psychiatry/Mental Health. Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC. Active DEA Registration. Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
