Position Summary... What you\'ll do... Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, and assessment of economic trends and community needs. Models and enforces customer/member service approaches and techniques to ensure needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within Company guidelines and standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good members of the community. Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, and directing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews." "Upholds the Company\'s Open Door Policy" by meeting with Associates to listen to concerns, researching issues, reviewing Company policies, and suggesting resolutions. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for results, and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning, supervision and development opportunities for Associates, and provides direction on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives." Provide supervision and development opportunities for Vision Center Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting a sense of belonging in the workplace. Ensure provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products based on Member/Customer needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment. Coordinate safety, asset protection, and confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records; monitor and improve performance through action plans. Support and execute open communication with Associates, including responding to concerns as part of the Open Door Policy. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, and drive results aligned with customer and business needs. Demonstrate integrity, ethics, and compliance in daily operations in alignment with Walmart values and the goal of becoming a regenerative company through responsible practices. Deliver customer-centric service with a focus on EDLP/EDLC business models and data-driven decision making. Compensation and Benefits

Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.
