Overview Voyatek delivers outcome‑driven technology solutions to public sector agencies and higher education institutions. Our work supports initiatives such as improving access to nutritious food for WIC participants, reducing opioid overdoses, preventing financial aid fraud, identifying students needing additional support, and accelerating state tax return processing.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
Design and deploy complex reports; diagnose and troubleshoot rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports and data warehouses.
Develop and maintain .NET Core applications (ASP.NET, MVC, C#) and supporting client‑side code (JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, XML).
Prepare scripts to create and modify Oracle database objects and migrate data as required.
Use source‑code repositories such as GitLab or TFS for version control and branching.
Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to the supervisor.
Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into technical models.
Mentor and assist programmers, including consultants, in debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications and data communications.
Qualifications
Minimum of 84 months experience with extensive industry exposure or leadership in development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, and n‑tier web deployment.
Strong experience with HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
Oracle database expertise: design, PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, and table creation.
Experience interpreting business requirements and implementing application logic.
At least 72 months experience with MVC 5 or later.
Experience with Service‑Oriented Architecture, including secure .NET web services (WCF, Web API).
48 months experience developing Crystal Reports (v10+) and invoking them from .NET applications.
36 months experience with TFS and GitLab, including CI/CD for source‑code management.
24 months experience coding and maintaining HIPAA‑protected health information applications.
Compensation Estimated hourly range: $54.00 – $559.00. Salary varies based on experience and qualifications.
