Job Summary: Manages shift and ongoing activities related to warehouse operations, developing company personnel, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates understanding of international cargo handling, warehouse buildup and breakdown, security, and customs documentation. Able to perform subordinates’ functions as needed and guide staff to achieve daily operational objectives. Provides coaching and drives teamwork.
Responsibilities
Manage shift and ongoing warehouse activities; develop personnel; ensure contract obligations and regulatory compliance. Train staff on policies and procedures; provide on-the-job, customer, and regulatory training as required. Enforce safety, security, and regulatory policies; hold staff accountable for compliance. Maintain operation per corporate security program and TSA regulations; coordinate with other functions to optimize service. Understand aircraft weight and balance/load planning; comply with security mandates from TSA, FAA, local airport authorities, and U.S. Customs & Border Protection. Minimum Requirements
Two to five years of management or supervisor experience in field service duties. College degree or equivalent experience. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Familiarity with personal computer software helpful. Airline pricing experience. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off. Preferred Skills
Familiarity with PC software; independent judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (read, write, speak, and understand). Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
