This role is a Senior Procurement Engineer responsible for verifying quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries from bid phase through manufacturing and delivery. The position may involve interfacing with customers, managing multiple projects, and reporting for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio. The role reports to the Senior Manager and is located on a hybrid basis out of the Cranberry Township, PA or Rockhill, SC office. No relocation is provided for this position. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year. Responsibilities
Supplier Assessment Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations Drive/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations Lead RFQ package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements) Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings Supplier Oversight Create the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for design option selection or validation of cost and schedule Execute Supplier Oversight QA Technical Witness and Hold Points Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations Supplier Development & Management Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members Manage/Drive Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points Hold pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates Provide periodic Customer Status Updates Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME Send QR/QADP to the site or customer after archiving in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree or higher in Engineering Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries but could be in oil & gas, pipelines, refineries, offshore oil production platforms, ship building, manufacturing plants, supply chain, etc. Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development Westinghouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities Benefits
