Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in one of the posting locations. This position entails performing a wide variety of surveys in various locations with up to 50% travel. This is a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to establish and develop a career in Land Surveying. Posting Locations for this role: Lisle. Job Activities include ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout, As-Built Pipeline Surveys, 3D Scanning, and UAV Surveys. Salary Range: $25 - $40 per hour. The salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout, As-Built Pipeline Surveys, 3D Scanning, and UAV Surveys. Assist in field data collection and ensure accuracy of survey data. Read and interpret Construction Plans and organize field notes. Execute field staking and assist with survey projects across multiple locations (up to 50% travel). Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of property survey experience, including ALTA and Section Line Surveys Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Station, and Data Collectors Ability to organize field notes and read Construction Plans Experience performing Boundary Research (preferred) LSIT (preferred) Ability to execute field staking Strong math skills Valid driver’s license and insurable under company insurance Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds Up to 50% travel required Desired Qualifications
