Job Overview We’re offering a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus (Flat rate / Not Prorated) for RT's with 2+ years of Neonatal / Pediatric experience who are hired at our Children's Masonic Hospital location! If you do not have the experience listed, then you can also qualify for our $11,250 Sign-On Bonus!

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses, interprets, and intervenes as appropriate in the care of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensures patient welfare and safety standards during treatments.

Schedule This position will work 0.75 full‑time equivalent (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift, and this position will also work a rotation for every third weekend.

$4/hr. Night

$2/hr. Weekends

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and identify expected outcomes.

Implement respiratory interventions based on plan of care.

Evaluate care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.

Deliver care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.

Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.

Operate and maintain all respiratory care equipment.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field

License/Certification/Registration

Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Exceptions include:

New Graduates only – must complete RRT within 6 months of hire date.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field
