Overview
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a high school setting in Chicopee, MA, starting in August. This contract position spans the school year and offers a schedule with 3 to 5 days per week, and hours determined based on the work schedule created. The caseload consists of approximately 20 high school students requiring speech-language services.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology certification. Required: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with high school-aged students is preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students on caseload. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
