Overview

Meter is seeking a Channel Sales leader focused on accelerating growth through Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and partners on the East Coast. You will build, execute and scale the partner ecosystem and drive revenue through named partners. Responsibilities

Create a business plan that enables Meter to scale effectively through partners on the East Coast. Develop an enablement strategy to attract, develop and grow relationships with targeted partners that can bring outsized value to Meter. Drive deal registrations and closed-won revenue within our named partners. Build, own and scale a partner enablement program for named partners. Own the Channel business through VARs and partners in the East region from day one. Onboard new VARs and partners in the region and onboard them effectively. Meet with key VAR contacts, channel reps and regional leadership to strengthen relationships and uncover deal opportunities. Identify target verticals and accounts where partners have existing relationships and influence. Track and drive deal registrations through to closed-won revenue alongside Meter’s direct Sales team. Align with Meter’s Sales, Product and Marketing teams to ensure regional channel strategy aligns with company priorities. Monitor and analyze partner pipeline metrics and identify bottlenecks or high-leverage activities. Deliver ongoing training and enablement to partners on Meter’s offerings, roadmap and competitive positioning. Travel to meet customers and partners for training sessions, events and technical overviews. Represent Meter at partner events, trade shows and joint customer meetings, and organize Meter-sponsored events to deepen engagement and generate pipeline. Forecast channel-driven revenue and report progress against targets to Meter’s Sales leadership. Qualifications

You have a growth mindset and know how to leverage the Channel to acquire new partnerships while managing existing ones. You have extensive experience with Channel Partners, VARs and MSPs, with meaningful existing relationships in the East market. Experience in technology or internet infrastructure is preferred. You have a track record of driving pipeline, deal registrations and revenue through partners that supported sales teams to overachieve on their OTEs. Experience engaging with partners at both individual contributor and leadership levels. Past experience as a successful Mid-Market or Enterprise seller. You can present confidently to stakeholders both virtually and in-person. You are comfortable with 50%+ travel to engage with partners and customers. You are based on the East Coast, ideally in a major metro area like New York, Washington, D.C. or Atlanta, and live near a major airport. Compensation and Benefits
