As we continue to scale operations and improve efficiency across our supply chain, we’re looking for a Transportation Analyst to join our logistics team to help plan, optimize, and execute ground transportation shipments, with a focus on LTL (Less-than-Truckload) and TL (Truckload).

Position Summary As a Transportation Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing outbound shipments from our manufacturing and distribution centers. You will use our Transportation Management System (TMS) to plan loads, tender freight, ensure carrier compliance, and support high-velocity customer order fulfillment with real-time tracking and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimize LTL and TL shipments based on customer orders, transit times, cost efficiency, and carrier capacity.

Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules; update and manage the TMS with accurate, real-time shipment data for visibility and tracking.

Communicate detailed shipping instructions to internal teams and external partners via phone and email.

Monitor shipments for delivery performance, delays, and exceptions; proactively troubleshoot issues with carriers or customers.

Track and report on carrier compliance, on-time performance, and cost optimization.

Serve as a key point of contact between carriers and end customers, building strong relationships and clear lines of communication.

Conduct carrier performance reviews, including scorecard analysis and KPI compliance.

Support cross-functional teams with data reporting, performance metrics, and ad hoc logistics projects.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transportation planning, logistics coordination, or similar role handling ground transportation.

Strong knowledge of LTL and TL freight modes.

Experience with TMS platforms.

Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with external partners and internal leadership.

Detail-oriented with a keen sense of urgency and accountability.
