MA / Medical Assistant - Digestive Health
Full-time (100% FTE) 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (Day Shift).
Location: Brand-new outpatient endoscopy suite in North Seattle.
Department Summary This position supports GI and Nephrology clinic patients in a new outpatient endoscopy suite with 2 rooms and 12 recovery bays.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records
Perform injections
Prepare and clean exam rooms
Submit medication prior authorizations
Recognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and report to provider
Act as liaison between patient, family, and providers
Assist provider with procedures and medical exams
Perform point‑of‑care testing and report abnormal laboratory values
Assist in transporting patients as required
Requirements
Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or other recognized board, or equivalent
Must be Washington State Medical Assistant‑Certified or achieve certification within 6 months of hire; failure to maintain will result in termination
Valid American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $27.18–$38.89 hourly.
Signing Bonus: $5,000 (subject to eligibility).
