Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fife Rehabilitation Service for someone to join our skilled and dedicated nursing team. These posts are within a consultant‑led multidisciplinary team which provides expert assessment and rehabilitation for adults aged 16‑64 years with neurological disability. The service has 12 inpatient beds dedicated to active rehabilitation. The in‑patient rehabilitation programme’s aim is to provide a high standard of quality care and rehabilitation to people with a variety of neurological conditions, with a particular emphasis on acquired brain injury, including major trauma.
Responsibilities
Provide expert assessment and rehabilitation for adults with neurological disability within a multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality programmes of care and set standards to meet the needs of individual patients.
Support the service’s aim to deliver high‑standard care and rehabilitation to people with a variety of neurological conditions, emphasizing acquired brain injury.
Requirements
Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
Have the relevant permission to work in the United Kingdom or be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa scheme.
Meet all NHS Scotland employment and equality requirements.
