Summary The Medical Materiel Specialist I will perform general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, kit building, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA), cargo preparation, and deployment. Duties include handling secured medical items, operating materials handling equipment, and maintaining MMIS records.
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions
Oversee logistical operations and inventory management for the CBRN Response Enterprise, ensuring accurate SLEP/DMLSS statistics and communicating updates to relevant units.
Conduct monthly inventory reviews and report to the COR on SLEP and DMLSS records.
Serve as the Logical SLEP coordinator.
Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track and document medical material usage.
Assist with procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
Participate in program management, oversight, and strategic readiness reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); familiarity with MMIS.
Must have a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
Pay and Benefits The hourly salary range for this position is $17.46 to $21.82. Goldbelt offers a competitive base salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, tax‑deferred savings options, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
