Overview
Nalu Federal is a subsidiary company of the Kanaka Foundation - An NHO whose mission is to support Native Hawaiians. Role designation: Application Systems Analyst - Level II; IT Security designation: ADP/IT-II; Investigation Required: Tier 3 (T3); IA Technical/Management Designation: IAT II (required) and Computing Environment (CE) if privileged access is required for lab, test or production environments. This role requires implementing and supporting application systems in alignment with business requirements. Responsibilities
The Application Systems Analyst - Level II may oversee the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications, coordinate tests of the application system to provide proper performance, or develop diagrams and flow charts for computer programmers to follow. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, debugging, and installing to support an organization\'s application systems. Develop application specifications, identify the required inputs, and format the output to meet users\' needs. Develop SharePoint components (e.g., custom forms, workflows, web parts) aligned to business requirements. SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online administration and development. M365 integration, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams. Full Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Lean. Unit, System, Functional, and User Acceptance Testing; test planning, execution, and defect remediation aligned with quality standards. Implement information architecture (sites, lists/libraries, content types, metadata, permissions). Create and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline business processes. Build and enhance Power Apps for data capture and workflow UX within SharePoint. Develop and publish Power BI reports/dashboards using SharePoint and M365 data sources. Adhere to established DevOps/ALM practices, version control, and release management. Maintain documentation (design specs, user guides, runbooks) and support audit/compliance needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with stakeholders. Conduct knowledge transfer, user training, and adoption support. Optimize site performance, enforce permission models, and implement security best practices. Note: The contract may include additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Experience in this Discipline: Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. Minimum Education: Bachelor\'s degree and/or equivalent experience.
