Work Schedule:
M-F with ability to participate in on-call rotation within the System Administrators Team.
Location:
May be scheduled to work remotely up to 2 days/week after a 6 month onboarding period.

Essential Duties
Architect and manage Hyper-V clusters, implement failover clustering, optimize resource allocation, and perform advanced performance tuning. Lead VM lifecycle management from deployment to decommissioning.
Vast knowledge of Veeam backup and recovery systems, design and implement a comprehensive backup and recovery strategy.
Manage complex storage networking including SAN, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel configurations. Implement and troubleshoot multipathing solutions to ensure optimal connectivity and redundancy.
Develop and maintain documentation for storage and virtualization procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure planning and optimization
Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and generate capacity forecasting reports
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years’ experience in system, network and enterprise backup systems administration and troubleshooting.
3 years’ advanced server operating system support including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
Ability to work during scheduled downtime; weekend and holiday on-call duty.
Ideal Candidate Will Be/Have
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and/or Equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
3-5 years of experience in system administration with direct storage and virtualization responsibilities.
Hyper-V Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Hyper-V cluster management, failover configuration, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
Veeam Administration :
Veeam Backup & Replication for VMware/Hyper-V—SOBR with immutable object storage (3-2-1-1-0), app-aware backups, GFS/copy jobs; delivered Instant VM Recovery and SureBackup-tested DR to RPO/RTO.
Storage Networking :
Strong knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, Fibre Channel protocols, and multipathing configurations.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with systematic problem-solving approach.
Good understanding of Azure virtualization and networking.
Excellent project management abilities with experience leading infrastructure initiatives.
Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
