Overview
We are seeking a full-time Hybrid 40-Hour Triage RN to support both our Amherst and Northampton office onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with 2 remote days. Dedicated to phone triage, this nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns, appointments, pre and post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results. Responsibilities
Provide phone-based triage and patient interactions, following established clinical protocols. Advise patients and coordinate appropriate disposition based on triage assessment. Manage calls related to patient concerns, appointments, pre/post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate information and follow-up. Qualifications
Education: Associate''s Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required. Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN) license - state license; HR only requirement. Experience in lieu of degree: No. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with practical nursing principles for patient care; knowledge of care for respective age groups; strong confidentiality and information security; knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal communication; ability to screen and triage acute patients.
