What youll do Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chillers. Diagnose and resolve issues with refrigeration circuits, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and other system components. Service and maintain pumps used in HVAC systems, including chilled water and condenser water pumps. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot rooftop units (RTUs) and advanced systems like Trane IntelliPaks. Perform maintenance and repairs on self?contained water?cooled units (SWUDs). Conduct system performance tests and ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems and associated equipment. Work with building automation systems (BAS) to monitor and adjust chiller and HVAC performance. Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs and maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and recommendations. Extensive knowledge of Trane, York, and Carrier chillers. Ideal candidate should be able to rebuild them.
What youll need
Minimum of 35 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on chiller systems. Hands?on experience with water?source heat pumps (WSHP), pumps, rooftop units (RTUs), IntelliPaks, and self?contained water?cooled units (SWUDs). Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and principles. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC systems. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training. Valid driver's license with good driving record and periodic checks. Ability to operate a full?size van/truck. Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, and training. Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation
