This position is responsible for the integrity of Payroll and Personnel data after the time entry process has taken place. Must monitor and facilitate Time, Payroll, and Personnel documents in dual SAP systems (DOT’s and IHRPS). Position is responsible for the analyzing and processing of employee reinstatements, retention and hiring bonuses, worker’s compensation, negative leave corrections and compensatory leave adjustments. Point of contact for employee’s payroll questions and liaison with BEACON for HR/Payroll information.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences**Salary Grade and Salary Range:
NC13 $48,222- $84,388**Management prefers applicants with the following:*** Experience with general accounting principles, processes, and procedures.* Experience reviewing work of others and implementing financial policies and procedures.* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.* Experience creating reports in an accounting software program.* Experience troubleshooting and resolving accounting related issues through effective communication.* **Additional Expectations:*** Trouble shooting skills* Customer service skills**Minimum Education and Experience**Some state job postings say you can qualify by an “equivalent combination of education and experience.” If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.
