Principal Service Engineer IS, Supply Chain *Virtual* Providence Health & Services

invites qualified candidates to join as a Principal Service Engineer. This virtual role focuses on enhancing IS equipment services for caregivers at scale through continuous improvement, AI‑driven user experiences, and streamlined hardware fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with 3rd‑Party Logistics partners, End‑User Support, and internal ServiceNow and Oracle teams to deliver exceptional IS equipment services.

Transform IT service delivery at scale, focusing on continuous improvement and AI‑driven user experiences.

Streamline hardware fulfillment processes, including IT asset disposition (ITAD), project‑based orders, imaging, and ServiceNow data integrity.

Lead and represent the service in backlog discussions and stand‑ups to prioritize live site requirements.

Leverage data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions.

Use systematic root‑cause analysis to resolve complex engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.

8+ years of related experience.

Strong experience in automation, deployment, recovery, and other manual processes.

Experience with n‑tier solutions and resilience modeling.

Strong leadership and representation skills in service architecture design.

Expertise in data metrics, decision logic, and systematic problem solving.

Experience in advanced problem solving using root‑cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).

Experience in a healthcare environment.

PMP certification and Agile development experience.

8+ years leading service engineering initiatives across global supply chain environments.

Experience managing inventory or working in a supply planning role.

Leadership in designing global supply chain systems and automation frameworks.

Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Power Automate) to support diagnostics and monitoring.

Expertise in supply chain logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management systems.

Strong vendor partnership and KPI dashboard implementation skills.

Alaska – Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36

California – 43 distinct offices with ranges from $71.23 to $136.08

Montana – $55.01 to $93.68

Oregon – $63.70 to $108.47

Texas – Lubbock, Levelland, Plainview – $52.12 to $88.75

Washington – ranges from $60.81 to $121.29
