Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

A well‑established real estate law firm is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Associate Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves managing a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents. The ideal candidate will support clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects by managing due diligence, coordinating closings, and ensuring compliance with legal and transactional requirements. They are looking for a proactive, self‑motivated attorney with strong corporate real‑estate experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, small team environment.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases across retail, office, and industrial sectors

Prepare, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for real estate transactions

Draft and negotiate development, construction, and related project agreements

Review and prepare easements, covenants, and title‑related documentation

Draft and negotiate real estate‑secured loan agreements, modifications, and restructuring documents

Support acquisitions, dispositions, and other real estate projects, including due diligence on title, surveys, zoning, and environmental matters

Assist clients throughout all phases of site development and project financing

Coordinate with lenders, developers, and title professionals to ensure smooth closings and compliance with transactional requirements

Provide strategic advice on lease negotiations, financing structures, and risk management considerations

Review and interpret corporate and property ownership structures such as LLCs, partnerships, and REITs

Prepare and file the required real estate documentation with the appropriate entities

Collaborate with senior legal staff and clients to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Requirements

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Active membership in good standing with the relevant state bar

3‑4 years of experience as an associate attorney, preferably with experience at a larger firm

Hands‑on corporate real‑estate experience with commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents

Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate documents

Self‑motivated and capable of managing projects independently using available resources

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
