What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Review and negotiate insurance and indemnity provisions in contracts specific to U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions
Ensure alignment with the corporate insurance program and local regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to advise on insurance-related contract terms
Coordinate with brokers and insurers to obtain necessary insurance documentation
Provide training and guidance on insurance contract best practices
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or related field; JD or professional insurance designation preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance contract review, preferably in U.S. and/or Canadian markets
Strong understanding of commercial insurance lines including GL, Auto, WC, Umbrella, and Professional Liability
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with contract lifecycle management tools preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with OCIP/CCIP enrollment
Familiarity with contractual risk transfer and insurance certificate management
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
