The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable associate attorney to join our growing team. You will handle cases from inception to trial, including auto, premises, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse cases. Your role will involve depositions, discovery, mediation, law‑motion practice, and trial attack or defense, serving as first or second chair in arbitration and jury trials. Our firm invests in educating associate attorneys to help them evolve their litigation skills.
Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution
Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage
Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients
Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active State Bar membership in applicable job location
Minimum 2–4 years of personal injury or similar law experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience ($100,000.00 – $250,000.00)
Commission percentage on settled cases depending on experience
