Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to join their client's team for a part-time role. The position requires a proactive individual who will support inventory management operations two days per week at a bustling customer site. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to efficiently manage goods in/out activities, oversee critical stock items, and ensure effective product distribution and on-site services. Responsibilities
Conduct goods receiving tasks, including checking, counting, and putting away stock efficiently. Pick and pack customer orders in accordance with agreed timeframes and order turnaround times. Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to all safety, quality, and operational protocols. Utilize a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other related systems effectively. Take a proactive approach to identifying problems and developing appropriate solutions. Handle company vehicles and equipment with care and responsibility. Assist with the delivery of products to and around local customer sites as required. Demonstrate flexibility by performing additional duties to support customer needs. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy in the warehouse. Qualifications Flexible, reliable, and hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Capable of using own initiative and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about providing high-level customer service and identifying customer needs. Strong technical ability and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Prior warehouse experience and background in spare parts management are desirable. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with a problem-solving aptitude. Full driver's license required; forklift license and prior experience highly desirable. Experience using stock control systems (ERP/WMS), with prior use of SAP as an advantage. Work Hours
