Desktop Support Engineer
who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments to own the operational health of our classrooms and lab technology. You’ll be the onsite go-to expert ensuring every system, device, and connection works seamlessly for our faculty, learners, and staff.
What You’ll Do
Run
pre/post-class checks
(devices, licensing, peripherals, print/scan/capture, network). Provide
white-glove, in-room support
before/during/after sessions. Image/build Windows; manage drivers/firmware; deploy/maintain specialized lab apps. Enroll/manage Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS with
Intune / Mosyle AD and M365 tasks (groups, licensing, Exchange/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive access). Okta
SSO/MFA troubleshooting and group-based access. Network triage for labs (switch port/VLAN, DHCP/DNS, wired/Wi-Fi). Perform troubleshooting/maintenance on
vendor-proprietary lab software and equipment ; open/drive vendor support cases. Own
your Jira queue (triage, resolve, escalate to SLA), clear ticket notes, KB updates. What You’ll Bring
3+ years of IT support experience in
enterprise or lab/classroom environments . Expertise with
Windows, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS
troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with
Intune
(Autopilot, compliance, config) and
Mosyle
(ABM/DEP, supervision, blueprints). Working knowledge of
Active Directory
(on-prem/hybrid) and
Microsoft 365 administration . Support experience with
Okta SSO/MFA . Strong
networking fundamentals
— DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and basic firewall concepts. Proven ability to support
vendor-proprietary applications
and handle vendor escalations. Ability to work onsite
Wednesday–Sunday , with flexibility for early or late sessions when needed. Bonus Points
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications such as
CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ ,
Microsoft ,
Okta ,
ITIL , or
CCNA . Experience with
Meraki/Wi-Fi ,
printing workflows , or collaboration tools like
Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint .
