About the role This is an exciting time to join our Cardiology team as we launch new and innovative products to the Electrophysiology (EP) market, one of the fastest‑growing areas in med‑tech. Boston Scientific offers technologies such as 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths for diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The EP Mapping Specialist will spend the first year gaining expertise in Boston Scientific technology while obtaining extensive professional development to ensure readiness for success in this hands‑on, field‑based role. Once training is complete, you’ll provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, EP lab staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Rhythmia Mapping System during case procedures within an assigned geography, achieving and exceeding business goals.
Your responsibilities will include
Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of EP diagnostic and ablation technologies, EP mapping and recording systems, transeptal access technologies, and left atrial appendage occlusion technologies.
Attend procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs of hospital accounts to provide clinical support and development within Boston Scientific’s AF Solutions product portfolio (Rhythmia HDx mapping system, LabSystem Pro recording system, transeptal access products, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN LAAC technologies).
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of AF Solutions products through presentations and demonstrations using slides, transparencies, manuals, and other formats.
Meet with existing and potential customers—physicians, physician office groups, and hospitals—by traveling to identify their clinical needs and demonstrate how our products can help achieve their goals.
Build relationships with hospital personnel at all levels, including staff, physicians, and administrators, to facilitate future sales opportunities.
Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions in collaboration with sales, clinical research, marketing, and technical support.
Show effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships to improve the area/organization by leveraging relationships across AF Solutions organization (Marketing, Training, Strategic Planning).
Implement and monitor strategies outlined by the quarterly action plan for the area.
Coordinate territory and other BSC sales management and representative efforts to build strategic partnerships that further area and organizational objectives.
Develop relationships with key referring physicians, external fellows, NEPIs, and other key physicians to promote market development and growth.
Train on and maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols, Clinical Department standard operating procedures, and compliance with regulatory bodies worldwide.
Manage clinical trial activity within the assigned territory, including completing Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.
Educate clinical investigators on clinical trial protocols, processes, and investigational products.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 6 years of 3D cardiac mapping system experience or minimum of 10 years in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience.
Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to discuss and explain complex technical product information.
Preferred qualifications
NASPE/IBHRE CEPS certification.
Work experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart procedure.
Existing usage of 3D cardiac mapping system.
MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.

The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position will be
$80,000 to $120,000 , plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (including certain annual non‑discretionary incentives) and the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
