We are seeking a

highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher

to join our logistics team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, drivers, and vehicles to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal efficiency. This role is essential in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers, trucks, and loads according to delivery requirements and customer specifications. Monitor real-time fleet operations to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to resolve scheduling conflicts, route issues, or delays. Update and maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and dispatch logs with accurate data. Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Optimize routes to reduce costs, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards. Handle emergency calls, unexpected delays, or equipment breakdowns promptly and professionally. Assist with driver check-in/check-out and verify trip documentation (BOLs, delivery receipts, etc.). Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch and performance reports. Qualifications

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations (trucking or freight industry preferred). Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient with dispatch or TMS software (e.g., McLeod, Samsara, KeepTruckin, or similar). Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong geographical knowledge and route planning ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations effectively.
