MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Strategic / Operational Planner to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform joint Information Operations (IO) and Information Warfare (IW) planning, including conducting IO and IW-based research, and developing tactical, operational, and strategic joint plans. This includes providing the administrative, technical, analytical, security, operations, and intelligence support services for the development, planning, staffing, coordination, and assessment of IO, IW, Information Related Capabilities (IRC), and sensitive activities and actions

  •  Review, analyze, and advise on the impact of national-level strategies, policies, and joint doctrine

  •  Provide appendices, annexes, tabs, and estimates, including Electronic Warfare (EW), Military Deception (MILDEC), Cyberspace Operations (CO), Operational Security (OPSEC) Plans, Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO), and IW for joint planning

  •  Incorporate information-related capabilities and sensitive activities into operations orders, annexes, and evaluation/assessment plans

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years’ experience; 4 additional years’ experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

  • Experience planning in Information Operations mission areas, to include cyber

  • Military planning education such as Joint Information Operations Planner Course (JIOPC), Cyber Operations Planning Course (COPC), Joint Phase Military Education (JPME) Phase 1, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced military planning educational courses such as JPME Phase 2, or graduation from any Advance Warfighting School

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
