Overview
The Senior Director, Recruitment Strategy & Operations will help drive the global recruitment strategy in close collaboration with US and International Recruitment teams, ensuring the organization attracts top talent and builds critical capabilities across CAA functions. This role will lead the development of key capabilities, systems, and processes from the ground up, shaping a scalable, data-driven, and equitable recruitment strategy. As a key leadership role, the Senior Director will build trusted relationships across HR and the business, define and deliver global hiring infrastructure, and ensure recruitment operations, sourcing, labor market intelligence, and employer branding are aligned to support CAA’s strategic talent goals. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Market Intelligence
Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and Agency Operations on strategic workforce planning and talent pipelining. Deliver proactive sourcing and market mapping for hard-to-fill and executive-level roles. Leverage labor market insights to inform sourcing strategies and support decision-making. Recruitment Operations
Design and standardize global recruitment processes and policies (e.g., requisition approvals, job postings, assessments, scheduling). Partner with HR Operations to develop objectives designed to optimize the recruitment tech stack (e.g., Workday, AI tools). Partner with Recruitment Delivery and Early Careers teams with training and operational updates. Data, Analytics & Reporting
Collaborate with the HR Data team to define key recruiting metrics and dashboards. Analyze data to track performance (e.g., time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness) and inform strategy. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Talent Brand
Lead the development and execution of a global employer brand strategy. Partner with Communications and Creative teams to establish and promote the EVP. Oversee recruitment marketing efforts across key platforms and manage vendor relationships. Qualifications
12+ years in recruitment, with deep experience across sourcing, labor market analysis, and/or operations. 4+ years in a leadership role overseeing a Recruitment Center of Excellence or equivalent function. Proven success building and scaling global recruitment strategies. Strong expertise in recruiting operations (ATS, assessments, candidate experience, etc.). Direct experience leading global sourcing efforts and managing executive search. Data-driven with strong analytical skills and fluency in ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse). Skilled in leading dispersed teams and navigating matrixed global environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive influence. Passion for inclusive hiring and equitable recruitment practices. Experience managing large-scale vendor partnerships across recruitment services. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with global workforce planning and talent scaling. Familiarity with international hiring regulations and compliance. Strong understanding of talent market trends, particularly in entertainment. Background in global talent branding best practices. Awareness of emerging recruitment technologies and industry innovation. Location
This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles or New York office. Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $225,000 - $280,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
