Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D requirements.
Lead internal and external audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Manage inspection processes, calibration programs, and document control.
Train/mentor QA staff and production teams on quality standards and best practices.
Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
Analyze nonconformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
Support ongoing process optimization using data analysis such as SPC and FPY.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a precision CNC machine shop or manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience managing QA teams and systems.
Strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, and dimensional inspection tools.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities — able to work effectively with machinists, engineers, and customers alike.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively.
