Role Summary
CDI Services is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented
Business Development Representative (BDR)
to identify, engage, and maintain partnerships with
new home builders
across the Denver metro area. This mid-level role is essential to expanding our client base and strengthening CDI’s presence in residential construction services.
You’ll play a pivotal role in
prospecting, presenting services, closing deals, and ensuring smooth onboarding and handoff to operations . Success means measurable growth in recurring builder partnerships and strong client satisfaction in a highly competitive, local market.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with
home builders, developers, and residential construction firms
Conduct outreach via phone, email, in-person meetings, and industry events to generate qualified leads
Schedule and lead discovery meetings, site visits, and presentations to showcase CDI’s value proposition
Negotiate and close service agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders
Ensure a smooth handoff to operations and maintain client engagement during early project cycles
Maintain up-to-date records in CRM and report weekly on sales pipeline and activity
Develop a strong understanding of local builder needs, trends, and competitor activity
Represent CDI at industry networking functions, homebuilding expos, and association events
Meet or exceed monthly KPIs for outreach, conversion rates, and account growth
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in
B2B sales, business development, or account management
within construction, homebuilding, or related industries
Proven success in outbound sales and building lasting client relationships
Strong presentation and negotiation skills with ability to tailor messaging to builder stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for metro area travel
