Job Description
Titus Steel LLC, a leading structural steel fabrication and erection company in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jobsite Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to the fabrication and erection of structural steel projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
The Structural Steel Jobsite Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural steel construction projects at the job site. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a profound understanding of steel construction processes. The successful candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage on-site personnel, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of structural steel projects, including scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and quality control Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols on the jobsite Provide leadership and guidance to onsite construction teams Monitor progress and report on project status to upper management Qualifications
5+ years of experience in structural steel construction Proven track record of successfully managing complex steel fabrication and erection projects Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for job site safety Experience with project management software is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
