Product Engineer (PE)

to support product lifecycle activities from New Product Introduction (NPI) through production scaling and ongoing process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience in process engineering, BOM management, documentation, tooling development, and packaging validation. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Key Responsibilities:

1. NPI Introduction

Lead and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Conduct process failure analysis and implement error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) measures. Troubleshoot and resolve production abnormalities or urgent process issues. 2. BOM Management

Create, issue, and maintain product Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP and Wareconn systems. Ensure BOM accuracy and handle data exceptions and system updates. Work with cross‑functional teams to validate engineering and system data consistency. 3. Packaging & Documentation

Develop packaging specifications and ensure compliance with handling and shipping requirements. Create and issue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production lines. Design label templates in line with product and customer requirements. 4. Engineering Change Order (ECO) Implementation

Execute and monitor Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth implementation and system alignment. 5. Tooling Development

Design and manage the fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support production efficiency and quality. Validate and improve tooling for long‑term use and maintainability. 6. Packaging Validation

Design and validate packaging materials for new and existing products. Conduct packaging testing to ensure protection during handling and transit. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or product engineering role, preferably in electronics or hardware industries. Hands‑on experience with BOM systems, preferably SAP and/or Wareconn. Familiarity with packaging design, label creation, and process documentation. Strong understanding of tooling design, jig/fixture development, and process troubleshooting. Knowledge of NPI and ECO processes in a production environment. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Speaking in Mandarin is a plus.
