Job Description You will be a Software Engineer for the Common Real Time Executive (CORE) team. Our team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of common simulation software infrastructure products utilized by the Aeronautics Simulation and System Integration Labs (SSL) department in support of all Aeronautics Lines of Business.
What You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy simulation software products.
Plan and implement new capabilities as a member of a cross-site team.
Build infrastructure capabilities and tools using C++, Python and Java with object‑oriented techniques.
Integrate, test and support deployed CORE software in Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop and Man‑in‑the‑Loop simulation systems.

Five or more years of experience in C++, Python and/or Java programming.
Five or more years of experience with Object‑Oriented Design techniques.
Experience with JIRA.
Experience with Gitlab.
Familiarity with simulation systems (Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop or Man‑in‑the‑Loop).
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
