Position Summary The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing electrical circuit boards used in Infusion Systems products. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical design and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead advanced engineering projects with guidance from engineering management.

Demonstrate expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in microprocessor-based circuit board designs.

Design, troubleshoot, and verify signal integrity of digital interfaces like USB, SPI, I2C, SMBus, LVDS, MIPI, SDIO, I2S, etc.

Analyze, plan, and complete complex projects, developing creative solutions and integrating subsystems such as wireless communications (Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc), sensors (pressure, air-in-line, motor positioning, etc), motors, and user interface devices (displays, haptics, speakers, etc).

Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams that include Software, Systems, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineers.

Support the development of manufacturing test fixtures and implement test automation using tools like Python.

Perform root cause analysis for issues observed during development, manufacturing, and in fielded devices.

Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure product availability and address end‑of‑life concerns.

Ensure compliance with industry standards for electrical components, product safety, and EMC performance.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Cadence/Orcad, Altium, etc).

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 60601-1).

Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of digital and analog electrical circuits and systems.

Experience with modern microprocessors and microcontrollers like ARM architectures.

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.

Work Environment

This is largely a sedentary role.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Typically requires travel 5–10% of the time.

Salary Range - $105,000 - $150,500

The salary range displayed represents the annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The actual salary may vary [differ] based upon various factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
