Overview
Regional Associate Medical Director – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care - St. Louis, Missouri. GoHealth Urgent Care has partnered with Mercy, one of the largest and most dynamic health systems in the United States, to operate Mercy’s urgent care centers.
We are seeking to add an experienced 0.5 FTE Admin Time / 0.5 FTE Clinical Associate Medical Director who will work in tandem with the Medical Director and APL Lead in the market. This role will ensure medical staff is provided with support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling to maintain exceptional levels of efficiency, client satisfaction, and patient experience. S/he will implement medical practice procedures and policies that abide by external and internal regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Work in tandem with the Medical Director and APL Lead in the market to support medical staff.
Provide support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling to maintain efficiency, client satisfaction, and patient experience.
Implement medical practice procedures and policies in line with external and internal regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds required
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical leadership / administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system, required
Successful track record building, developing and leading high-performing medical teams; strong analytical, management, delegation, organizational and administrative skills
Outstanding communication and management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with GoHealth staff, management, and health system partners
Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and act as a coach and manager across multiple operational centers
Ability to bring authority to partnerships with physicians and non-physician executives
Experience with generally accepted methods and techniques relevant to the role

Experience with advanced EMR systems (Epic) and in centers equipped with imaging and labs
