Overview

Regional Associate Medical Director – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care, Greater St. Louis. GoHealth Urgent Care has partnered with Mercy, one of the largest health systems in the United States, to operate Mercy’s urgent care centers. The Regional Associate Medical Director role is a 0.5 FTE Administrative Time / 0.5 FTE Clinical Associate Medical Director who will work in tandem with the Medical Director and APL Lead in the market. Responsibilities

Provide support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling for medical staff to maintain efficiency, client satisfaction, and patient experience. Implement medical practice procedures and policies that comply with external and internal regulations and standards. Collaborate with GoHealth staff, management, and health system partners; coach and manage multiple operational centers. Lead and mentor high-performing medical teams; apply analytical, management, delegation, organizational and administrative skills to develop and sustain a high-performing team. Maintain outstanding communication and management skills; work collaboratively with GoHealth staff, management, and partners; strong oral and written communication. Demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple responsibilities, acting as a coach and manager while overseeing several centers. Bring authority to relationships among physicians and non-physician executives, both internal and external. Apply current, generally accepted methods and techniques relevant to urgent care leadership. About GoHealth Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds required. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical leadership/administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably within a major medical center or health system. Track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing medical teams; strong analytical, management, delegation, organizational, and administrative skills. Outstanding communication and management skills; ability to work collaboratively with GoHealth staff and health system partners; strong oral and written communication. Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities across several operational centers and act as a “coach” and manager. Ability to establish authority in relationships among physicians and executives, both internal and external. Experience with current methods and techniques in clinical leadership. Benefits
