Regional Associate Medical Director (Greater St. Louis)

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Regional Associate Medical Director for Greater St. Louis. This role is a half-time administrative time and half-time clinical leadership position working in tandem with the Medical Director and APL Lead in the market. Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in St. Louis operates Mercy’s urgent care centers. This role ensures medical staff receive support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling to maintain high efficiency, client satisfaction, and patient experience. The position implements medical practice procedures and policies that comply with external and internal regulations and standards. Responsibilities

Provide support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling guidance to medical staff to maintain efficiency and patient experience. Implement and ensure adherence to medical practice procedures and policies aligned with regulatory standards. Collaborate with Medical Director and APL Lead to drive market performance across GoHealth centers. Coordinate with Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care leadership and clinical leadership across GoHealth provider teams. Mentor and develop high-performing medical teams; apply strong analytical, management, delegation, and organizational skills. Qualifications

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds required. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical leadership/administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system. Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing medical teams with strong communication and collaboration skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to work with GoHealth staff, management, and health system partners. Experience managing multiple responsibilities across multiple operational centers; a coach and manager mindset. Ability to establish authority with internal and external physicians and non-physician executives; up-to-date with generally accepted clinical methods and techniques. Benefits
