Salary Range: $31.33 to $34.33 per hour (includes $1.50 shift differential for nights)
WHO WE ARE Baldwin Richardson Foods (BRF) is a full‑service liquid product supplier and strategic partner to the food and beverage industry.
Our Corona, CA facility produces sauces, toppings, syrups, fillings, and shelf‑stable beverages for fast‑food chains, coffee shops, and consumer‑packaged goods brands.
In addition, BRF manufactures and markets Mrs. Richardson’s dessert sauces, Nance’s mustards/condiments, and private‑label finished goods.
WHAT WE NEED While the Group Leader does not have direct reports, they perform general supervisory tasks during their shift, such as assigning work, addressing safety issues, enforcing procedures and policies, resolving conflicts, and handling call‑in coverage when the Warehouse Supervisor is absent.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Train, coach, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure safety and compliance with procedures
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with BRF safety guidelines
Inspect pallet conditions and load stability for safe handling
Coordinate dock activity, trailer transfers, waste/recycling pickups, and third‑party carrier communication
Communicate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, QA, and Production to support material flow
Manage bills of lading, pick lists, and SAP inventory transactions
Address and document discrepancies in paperwork, procedures, and system entries
Lead shift meetings and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts
Load/unload trailers, track trailer inventory, and follow FIFO procedures
Receive, verify, and store raw materials and packaging, ensuring label accuracy
Inspect inbound/outbound freight and trailers; complete and escalate documentation as needed
Maintain housekeeping and GMP compliance in all warehouse areas
Enforce customer handling and cleanliness standards
Support organization and cleanliness of facility; report unresolved issues
Handle damage reports, freight claims, and enter SCARs for supplier issues
Participate in audits and recommend process improvements
Manage warehouse staffing schedules and coverage for call‑ins
Initiate forklift repair requests and incident reports
Use spreadsheets and SAP to track and transfer inventory and production needs
Maintain professional shift communications and submit detailed shift reports
Contribute input for warehouse employee performance evaluations
Prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Although the Group Leader currently does not manage direct reports, they oversee general supervisory duties with the assistance of the Warehouse Manager, assign tasks, enforce safety protocols, and resolve employee conflicts.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL To perform this role, you must meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the associated knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Forklift certification (required)
Minimum 3 years of warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
Minimum 1 year of related supervisory and/or leadership experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven leadership and people‑development skills; strategic thinking and tactical solutions
Experience implementing process improvement initiatives
Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and safety regulations
Ability to independently prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate, empower, train, direct, evaluate, and coach a diverse team
Physical Demands The role requires repeated standing, walking, sitting, reaching, lifting, and moving up to 50 pounds.
Adequate vision and hearing are required.
