Job Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB Hospitalist to join a well-established, high-volume hospital-based OB/GYN team in the Fort Worth, TX area. This permanent position offers flexibility of full-time (7.5 shifts/month) or part-time (5.5 shifts/month) employment—with benefits eligibility for both options. You will play a critical role in providing inpatient OB/GYN care, supporting high-risk pregnancies, managing unscheduled OB triage visits, and collaborating with in-house specialists in a Level II NICU setting.
Position Highlights
Full-Time
= 7.5 x 24-hour shifts per month
No on-call responsibilities
No locum tenens or visa candidates accepted
Relocation may be required (local residency preferred)
OB/GYN triage visits: ~2,296 annually
OBED consults: ~1,229 annually
In-house neonatologist and NNP support
Collaboration with maternal-fetal medicine specialists
Key Responsibilities
Attend and manage OB triage visits, inpatient admissions, and deliveries
Provide emergency OB/GYN coverage, including ER consults and GYN emergencies
Assist in Cesarean sections and other obstetric surgical procedures
Respond rapidly to labor and delivery emergenciesSupport unassigned patients and provide backup for private practice providers
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible
in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency)
Active Texas Medical License
(or in process)
DEA License
(must be obtained prior to start)
Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
Commitment to patient safety, high-quality care, and collaborative team-based care
$135/hour
